just horseing around

So this weekend we went to Bryce Vally agin to try to finnish matthews' toy box Dad did a design in the top and then on the front there is 2 cowboys and then it says cowboys. (It looks cuter then it sounds). I did the cowboy on the left and the lettering and wade did the cowboy on the right. I only got a pic of my dad working on the top thought because I was making and botteling cherry plumb jelly and apricot jam with my mom. They turned out sooooooo good. we mad quite a bit and still had one bowl of apricots left because we ran out of jars.
We got about 32 jars of jam and about 14 jars of jelly. By the time that was finnished my dads hay was dry and it looked like rain so him mom, wade and my uncle steve went to the field and while dad bailed everyone else hauled hay to the barn. they halled about 300 and something bails and I think mom said they still had 4 more trips but they were all tired and hungary so they called it a night at about 8:30pm.


Then sunday we rested and then went to check out dads new colt. He is beautiful and fun. everytime anyone tried to pet and scratch his neck or head he would turn around for you to scratch his butt instead. Matthew thought it was great cause grandpa put him on the colts back. we all were trying to think of a name for him . I came up with cowboy and justice. my dad came up with stetson. still trying to decide. It was a very busy weeked. NO STOPPING. but as the song goes there is no rest for the wicked.


It is a lot of fun to go to bryce but it is also fun to come home. I have a lot to get done this week I have to make it to the doctor for some testing and then i have a week till My brother-in-law and fam get hear. we are really excited. but I need to do some major cleaning!!!!
OH!!! I also got alll the stuff to start my painting project. well everything except the paint. I'll get that this week though. I cant wait to get started. The boys room is going to be silver blue with brown trim I want to paint hall bathroom lilac I think and kitchen red. I havent decided on the living room yet though. What does everyone think?????
Ps still trying to talk trista into letting us name our son tristan. hee heeee heee.
