Russells 1st camp out!

This last weekend was the vae view ward camp out and so we went. It was Russells first camp out and he loved it. both boys had sooooo much fun. Russell really couldn't get down and play though because there was so much mud. It rained on us a good share of the time too. the first pickture was my favorite. who knew someone could get so excited over a cracker.

on the way home they both sit and snacked on everythign they could get their hands on and dirty little hands they were.

After dinner there was a fireside around the camp fire and wade had russell all snug in his jacket and out of the rain and so Russell fell asleep. at the same time Matthew just kept crying and fussing so I took the 2 boys into the tent and they cried the whole time I was getting them out of their wet cloths and as soon as I got them into their pjs and eating some snacks they were bouncing all over the place, litterlaly they were bouncing from air mattress to air mattress. it was so fun. we then Wade came and got in and our friend Rachel and joshes tent was like 2 steps away from ours so they came over and we played games until midnight.




We ahd a lot of fun even though it rained. the only down side to the whole thing was when I was rolliing the tent up their was leaches on the bottom of it. Yuck!!!!!! for all of you that know how I feel about cockroaches....leaches are right up there with them!!!!
